biggest difficulties is contamination of drinking water especially by accidental release of
untreated or partially treated wastewater. Geosynthetics, especially geomembrane liners,
provide a capacity for rapid redevelopment of water and wastewater treatment and storage
facilities. This paper provides an overview of how these materials can be utilized.”
