The International Geosynthetics Society has two exceptional, standalone events being held back-to-back in Munich. The June workshops kick off with the 1st GeoReinforcement Workshop, June 4 – 5. Then, on June 6 – 7, the 1st GeoBarrier Workshop takes place.
Each of the June workshops has a separate registration, but both registrations may be made at the events’ shared online registration page.
IGS June Workshops - GeoReinforcement, GeoBarriers

These highly anticipated gatherings combine presentations from leading practitioners in the field with significant audience discussion time, enabling participants to share project experience, exchange technical concerns and solutions, and network with colleagues who influence diverse applications such as mining, MSE walls, coal ash, waste management, road building, environmental protection, oil and gas, and more.
Each two-day workshop costs 180€.
Workshop Location: Munich Workstyle (400m from Munich’s central train station). NOTE: The Best Western Atrium Hotel is directly next to Munich Workstyle.
The June Workshops are being organized by the International Geosynthetics Society through its Technical Committee on Soil Reinforcement (TC-R) and Technical Committee on Bariers (TC-B).
