Raven Industries’ Engineered Films Division has extended its well-known reinforced geomembranes family. The new DURA-SKRIM® materials include the N-Series (scrim-reinforced polyethylene line), NT-Series (scrim-reinforced, textured polyethylene), and NQ-Series (scrim-reinforced polypropylene).
The NT’s texturing is rooted in the company’s GeoGrip™ texture technology.
“DURA-SKRIM N, NT and NQ-Series are flexible reinforced geomembranes designed to provide unmatched performance and durability for the most challenging projects,” the company writes. “These geomembranes are reinforced with a closely knit 9×9 polyester, 1000 denier scrim to provide exceptional toughness and reliability.”
The N-Series includes enhanced stabilization characteristics for applications requiring or potentially including long-term exposure.
The series was officially unveiled for promotion at Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 (March 12 – 15, Orlando, Florida).
REINFORCED GEOMEMBRANES OPTIONS
The DURA-SKRIM product line now includes six reinforced geomembranes. The N, NT and NQ-Series products have been engineered to meet the quality standards of GRI-GM specifications and are supported further by NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects certification.
“We have sold our flagship DURA-SKRIM product lines for nearly 30 years,” says Stacy Coffin, Director of Business Development for Raven Engineered Films. “[These new] geomembranes are custom-engineered to meet the same high-quality standards our customers expect from Raven through superior product performance and value.”
