ASTRO

The ASTRO wedge welder, known for producing consistent, quality welds — without downtime — is the fastest wedge welder for HDPE geomembranes. It will weld at speeds of up to 16.5 feet per minute (5 m/min) and membrane thicknesses of up to 120 mil (3 mm). ASTRO USB

This advanced version of the ASTRO includes a USB flash memory system to record a permanent archive of all relevant welding parameters. The ASTRO USB is perfect for critical applications where constant real-time monitoring of primary weld conditions can be stored and displayed as part of a comprehensive QA/QC program.

COMET

This compact, lightweight wedge welder is especially designed for the demands of landfill sites, mines, tunnels and fabrication. The COMET wedge welder is excellent on thinner materials. Leister pioneered the small wedge welder format with the COMET, although many have copied its size, none have matched its combination of performance and longevity. It comes with a custom molded storage case.

COMET USB

This advanced version of the COMET records all relevant welding parameters with its compact USB flash drive memory system. You are able to store data displaying temperature, weld speed, pressure and seam location for every seam on a project.

HOT AIR WELDERS

TWINNY S

This lightweight and simple to operate analog hot-air welder is an excellent choice for PVC membranes. The TWINNY S is ultra-light and is well-suited even for overhead welding in tunnel engineering. The TWINNY S comes with a custom molded storage case.

TWINNY T

The TWINNY T is the digital control version of the TWINNY S, so it also is excellent for welding PVC and other thin or soft membranes. It is available either with or without air-test channel. The TWINNY T also is available in a special USB version, which makes data storage and display easy with a USB flash memory system. The TWINNY T comes with a custom molded case.

TRIAC Hot Air Tool

Leister’s reputation for quality and performance was built with this special handheld, hot-air tool. Its closed-loop electronics offer precise temperature control. It features heating elements and motor brushes designed for maximum durability and service life. The tool is available in multiple models: TRIAC S and TRIAC AT (digital display). A variety of welding nozzles and speed tips completes the picture. Each tool comes with a handy carrying case with room for accessories.

TRIAC DRIVE

Attach Leister’s famous TRIAC hot-air tool to a motorized drive roller and you’ve got Leister’s innovative, semiautomatic welder, the TRIAC DRIVE. The tool features a steplessly adjustable motor which maintains a consistent weld speed. It’s extremely compact design allows for a tight turning radius. Each tool comes with custom molded case.

EXTRUSION WELDERS

Leister manufactures a full range of extrusion welders that are well-suited to the demands of geosynthetics installation and plastic fabrication. From small, hard-to-reach inside corners to flat-out, high-speed seam welding, Leister’s got it covered. All Leister extrusion welders come with storage case. A variety of welding shoes are available.

WELDPLAST S1

The NEW WELDPLAST S1 can achieve perfect seam quality with plate thicknesses of 4 – 12 mm (0.16 – 0.47”) and a maximum output of 0.8 kg per hour (1.76 lbs per hour). Similar to the entire WELDPLAST family, the S1 includes a dual-sided, twist-free rod-feed mechanism. The S1 is designed for welding PE, PP, PVC, PA, PVDF or ECTFE. Its innovative design includes a multifunction panel with predefined welding parameters, adjustable air volume and LED lights to illuminate the weld area. The WELPLAST S1 comes with a molded case; two preheat nozzles and one blank welding shoe.

WELDPLAST S2

The WELDPLAST S2 is a compact, ergonomically-designed workhorse. The handy size puts out a surprising 4.4 pounds per hour (2.0 kg/hr.) It is equipped with digital controls for both preheat and extrudate temperature, positive twist-free rod-feed mechanism, and 360° rotatable welding head. This machine is extremely durable. The WELDPLAST S2 comes with a ship/travel case and one blank welding shoe.

WELDPLAST S2 (for PVC or TPO)

The WELDPLAST S2 is available as the standard unit for PE, PP and other materials, and special versions for both, PVC or TPO. The PVC version is optimized with integrated corrosion protection for the corrosive conditions of welding PVC. Both versions of the WELDPLAST S2 ship with a case and one blank welding shoe.

WELDPLAST S4

The WELDPLAST S4 is Leister’s premium mid-range extrusion welder. The ergonomic design only weighs 19 lbs. (8.8 kg), yet output is at 9 pounds per hour (4.0 kg/hr.) The WELDPLAST S4 features digital controls, brushless preheat blower and multilingual interface. Each machine comes with its own case, blank welding shoe and three preheat nozzles.

WELDPLAST S6

Leister’s WELDPLAST S6 is the world’s highest rated handheld extrusion welder. Output is over 13 pounds per hour, (6 kg/hr.), yet the WELDPLAST S6 is surprisingly maneuverable. It features a brushless preheat motor, multifunction display and comfortable ergo-grip — making the S6 Leister’s flagship extrusion welder. Each machine comes with one overlap welding shoe and special storage case.

FUSION 2

Leister’s smallest ‘Fusion-style’ analog extrusion welder, the FUSION 2 is a model of economic performance. Only 17 inches (450 mm) long, the compact FUSION 2 will feed 4 mm rod from either side and put out 4 pounds per hour (1/8 kg/hr.) of extrudate. Its full 360° rotatable welding head adds versatility. Each FUSION 2 comes with a custom storage case and one blank welding shoe.

FUSION 3C

The FUSION 3C is Leister’s most versatile extrusion welder. Simple analog design keeps cost low. Output is at 8 pounds per hour (3.5 kg/hr.) Previously available for only 3-4 mm welding rod, the new version of the FUSION 3C now accepts also 4-5 mm welding rod. Its features include a slim, ergonomic design, 360° rotatable welding shoe, 180° rotatable handle, twist-free rod feed and cold-start protection. The FUSION 3C offers all of the above without sacrificing its famous commitment to welding seam quality and machine efficiency. Each machine comes with a storage case and one blank welding shoe.

FUSION 3

Similar to the FUSION 3C — but with a longer and more vertical design — the FUSION 3 allows the operator to have a more comfortable posture while welding geomembrane liners. The FUSION 3 maintains the same economical analog approach to extrusion welding, with full weld quality. Previously available for only 3-4 mm welding rod, the new version of the FUSION 3 now accepts also 4-5 mm welding rod. Each extrusion welder comes with a storage case and one blank welding shoe.

WELDMAX

Leister’s smallest extrusion welder, the WELDMAX, goes where others can’t. Extremely small and lightweight, the compact WELDMAX can be operated one-handed. It is very versatile for use in confined spaces. The WELDMAX features dual temperature control for precise welding conditions. The 4 mm rod feed creates output of 1.8 pounds per hour (0.8 kg/hr.) Each machine comes with a storage case and one blank welding shoe.

EXAMO 300 F Tensiometer

Leister’s lightweight and portable EXAMO 300 F tensiometer is designed for precise peel and shear testing of geomembranes directly on the jobsite. EXAMO 600 F Tensiometer

Leister’s EXAMO 600 F tensiometer provides precise peel and shear testing of geomembrane seams directly on the construction site. Lightweight and portable, the special grip design is perfect for HDPE seam testing. The extended 24 inch (600 mm) cross-head travel gives the EXAMO 600 F the extra capability to test the more elastic membranes like PVC, PP, LLDPE, etc., which need more room to stretch. EXAMO Tensiometer Calibration Services

Yearly recalibration is normally required for all tensile-testing devices in the geosynthetics and civil engineering industries. Basic calibration is offered at a fixed low cost. Turnaround for basic calibration can be completed in as quickly as one business day. Additional service, as needed, can be completed within a few days. Leister’s complete-calibration method is compliant with ASTM standards.

Air Pressure Test Manometer

Handy and reliable air pressure test manometer from Leister. The famous Leister quality is now available in a self-contained kit, consisting of: ergonomic handle, gauge and air-test needle with special guide/guard, all in a foam-lined carry case. Kit includes spare O-rings. Spare needles are available separately.

Coupon Cutter

The Leister coupon cutter provides a simple, economical way to produce precise, die-cut seam samples for tensiometer testing of geomembranes according to ASTM or DVS test methodology.
