Indiana Prairie Farmer reports that years of aquaculture growth forecasts in the state may now become reality. A yellow perch aquaculture operation is starting up with the long-term goal to produce 9 million pounds of this limited fish. In the wild, it’s often overfished. Aquaculture may become a more viable growth sector in the US in situations like this.
