TENCATE EXPANDS NONWOVEN GEOTEXTILE PRODUCTION At the company’s Jefferson, Georgia facility, TenCate has installed a state-of-the-art high-quality nonwovens line. The investment includes advanced fiber distribution capabilities to create a uniquely consistent product in appearance and finished roll dimension. It also uses the largest card/cross lapper in the staple fiber geosynthetics industry for the production of both polypropylene and polyester geotextiles. “We are excited to announce this production expansion is now operational,” said John Henderson, P.E., President of TenCate Geosynthetics Americas. “This investment represents another important milestone in TenCate’s strategy and future.” TenCate’s team recognized the new line’s opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 15.
