Lumite Inc., a geotextile-manufacturing subsidiary of Thrace Plastics, has acquired a plant from Propex. The 226,000-sq-ft facility in Alto, Georgia will increase Thrace’s geotextile production capacity, a welcomed advent as the company seeks to expand within the domestic market.
